As well as offering Sling & Carrier Services the Cheshire Sling Library is warm, welcoming space for you and your little one to 'drop in' feel supported as a parent & connect with other local parents over cake & a brew PLEASE NOTE - Fit Checks are by appointment only DROP IN SERVICES AVAILABLE (First come first served) - Sling & Carrier Hire Breastfeeding Support Antenatal & Postnatal Support Book a Fit Check Appointment Book a 1-2-1 Appointment Please let us know which service you're interested in on the Drop In Booking Form. HIRING A SLING OR CARRIER AT THE LIBRARY Let us help you find the right sling or carrier, for you and your baby, making babywearing simple, safe, and comfortable for you and your little one! Our hire prices are fair and reflect the value of each sling or carrier, with options ranging from budget-friendly to premium choices. All carrier rentals are for a standard 2 weeks. You do have the option of extending your loan for an additional cost as long as no-one else has reserved the carrier after your 2 week loan period HIRE PRICES: Stretchy Wrap: from £15 Buckle Carrier: from £20 Half Buckle/Mei Tai Carrier: from £20 Woven Wrap: from £25 Ring Sling: from £25 BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT - If you're facing feeding challenges, we're here to offer compassionate support and professional guidance to help you reach your breastfeeding goals. Whether you need help with current issues or want to prepare for breastfeeding, we provide the information and education you need for a positive feeding journey. ANTENATAL & POSTNATAL SUPPORT The supportive village every new and expectant parent needs. Whether you're preparing to welcome your baby or have recently given birth, we're here to offer compassionate, professional support. With a wealth of experience, we provide both practical guidance and emotional care, giving you the support all new and expectant parents deserve. BOOK A 1-2-1 APPOINTMENT If you are looking for a Fit Check or you’d prefer a private one-to-one Hire or Support session at a day and time that suits you, simply head back to the booking page and choose from one of the services below 30 min Fit Check 45 min Hire Session 90 min Babywearing Session 90 min Breastfeeding Session BOOK A DROP IN SPACE - Select the Date and Time (10 am) on the Booking Page You can Drop In anytime between 10:00 am and 11:30 am Booking 1 space also includes a partner if required. Sling Library Terms and Conditions Terms and Conditions for Attending the Sling Library Welcome to the Sling Library! By attending our sessions and utilising our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. 1. General Conduct * Attendees must treat all equipment, staff, and other attendees with respect and care. * The Sling Library reserves the right to refuse entry or service to anyone acting inappropriately or disrupting the session. 2. Use of Equipment * All slings, carriers, and accessories provided during the session are to be handled with care. * Attendees are responsible for ensuring that they follow the guidance provided for safe use. * Any damage to equipment due to misuse or negligence may result in repair or replacement costs being charged to the attendee. 3. Safety * The safety of your child is our highest priority. Attendees must listen carefully to instructions provided by Sling Library staff regarding the use of slings and carriers. * It is the attendee's responsibility to ensure that their child is securely positioned and that all safety recommendations are followed. * The Sling Library is not liable for any injuries or accidents resulting from improper use of slings or carriers. 4. Health and Hygiene * Please ensure both you and your child are in good health when attending a session. If you or your child are unwell, we kindly ask you to stay home to protect others. * All slings and carriers are cleaned and maintained regularly; however, we encourage attendees to report any concerns about hygiene. 5. Booking and Attendance * Sessions may require prior booking due to limited spaces. Please check availability and book in advance if necessary. * If you are unable to attend a booked session, please notify us as soon as possible so your space can be offered to another parent. 6. Fees and Payments * Fees for sling hire, consultations, or other services must be paid as specified during booking. * Late returns of hired equipment may incur additional charges. 7. Sling Hire * Slings and carriers may be available for hire, subject to terms provided at the time of hire. * Hired slings must be returned on or before the agreed date, in the same condition as they were received. * The attendee is responsible for the care and maintenance of hired equipment
