1. General Conduct

* Attendees must treat all equipment, staff, and other attendees with respect and care. * The Sling Library reserves the right to refuse entry or service to anyone acting inappropriately or disrupting the session

.2. Use of Equipment

* All slings, carriers, and accessories provided during the session are to be handled with care. * Attendees are responsible for ensuring that they follow the guidance provided for safe use. * Any damage to equipment due to misuse or negligence may result in repair or replacement costs being charged to the attendee.

.3. Safety

* The safety of your child is our highest priority. Attendees must listen carefully to instructions provided by Sling Library staff regarding the use of slings and carriers. * It is the attendee's responsibility to ensure that their child is securely positioned and that all safety recommendations are followed. * The Sling Library is not liable for any injuries or accidents resulting from improper use of slings or carriers.

4. Health and Hygiene

* Please ensure both you and your child are in good health when attending a session. If you or your child are unwell, we kindly ask you to stay home to protect others. * All slings and carriers are cleaned and maintained regularly; however, we encourage attendees to report any concerns about hygiene.

5. Appointment Booking, Cancellation, and Rescheduling

* Sessions may require prior booking due to limited spaces. Please check availability and book in advance if necessary. * If you are unable to attend a booked session, please notify us as soon as possible so your space can be offered to another parent.

• Drop In Booking means you do not have an allocated appointment time

•  If your enquiry or the information & attention required is longer than 15 mins, you will need to book an allocated time slot either for a Fit Check, Hire Session or Sling Consultation

• All booking appointments with an allocated time slot (sling library, in-person, online consultations, must be booked and paid for in full at the time of booking via the Website Booking System

• Appointments can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.

• Cancellations:

  • Cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund, minus a £3 admin fee.

  • Workshops: Cancel up to 2 weeks in advance for a refund, minus the admin fee.

• Short-notice changes (<24 hours): No refund is available, but you may reschedule or switch from in-person to online within 3 months of the original booking.

• Late arrivals: If you're late, we’ll do our best to fit you in, but you may need to reschedule if the session is full. Alternatively, you may switch to an online appointment.

• No-shows: No-shows without prior communication forfeit any right to reschedule or refund.

• Contact: Use phone, text, WhatsApp, email.  Other methods (e.g., social media comments) may not be monitored for urgent matters.

6. Fees & Payments

* Fees for sling hire, consultations, or other services must be paid as specified during booking. * Late returns of hired equipment may incur additional charges.

7. Sling Hire

* Slings and carriers may be available for hire, subject to terms provided at the time of hire. * Hired slings must be returned on or before the agreed date, in the same condition as they were received. * The attendee is responsible for the care and maintenance of hired equipment while it is in their possession.

8. Liability

* The Sling Library and its staff provide advice and support based on training and experience but cannot accept liability for misuse of equipment or failure to follow instructions. * Attendees are advised to check their own equipment for wear and tear before each use

9. Photography & Media

* Photographs may be taken during sessions for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included in any photographs, please inform a member of staff before attending or at the beginning of your session of when arrive.

10. Changes to
Terms & Conditions

* The Sling Library reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to attendees and posted on our website or social media.By attending the Sling Library, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
